"Be what you desire your child to be...
be the best version of yourself"

Vision

Begin with a vision in your parenting journey. In effective parenting, VISION is key. If you accept the idea that we are here to become the best version of ourselves and to help each other in that quest, then you have a VISION. Now you need to implement that vision.

Communicate that vision! Having this clear vision will help you be decisive, be a good example and consistent in your goals.

A visionary parent uses the resources at hand, - family, friends, teachers and coaches to support the vision for your child. A visionary parent will be persuasive and understand mistakes occur. A visionar parent will recognize the value of spending quality time with your child. A visionary parent will realize that self care is not only essential but a good example. . A visionary parent models trustworthyness. A visionary parent will persevere.

A visiosnary parent calls on God when making important deciisons and as a good example communicates this to the child. And finally your reward is a child who understands the best version of himself

A visionary parent encourages:

Creatiing the best version of yourself.

Creating a family culture that encourages your vision, so your child can discover and celebrate their best selves.

Engaging your child in conversation - drawing them out by asking questions, keep them thinking -and last but not least listening.

What do you do when you have to make a decision? Do you call on God and wait for an answer. If you do, let them know that, especially when they find themsselves in that position of making an important decision.
